He and wife Anna had five children at Neu-Ansberg, 1716/17, per Simmendinger Register.

He was noted as a widower when he married Maria Margaretha Zeh in 1737, both living at Huntersfield.

Marcus married Anna Deckmann Conrad, daughter of Conrad Deckmann and Gela, about 1710. (Anna Deckmann Conrad was born in 1671 in Stockheim, Büdingen, Hessen-Nassau, Germany, christened in 1671 in Düdelsheim, Büdingen, Hessen-Nassau, Germany and died by 1737 in , , New York.)
