Benjamin married Lucy Maria Stryker, daughter of Garrett Stryker and Saloma Luce, on 18 Feb 1819 in Strykersville, Wyoming, New York, United States. (Lucy Maria Stryker was born on 20 Sep 1802, died on 9 Apr 1867 and was buried in Argos, Marshall, Indiana, United States.)
