There is some confusion about the father of this Frederick Bellinger, Jr. David K. Martin, author of the two above sources, does not give Frederick's father. Lyle F. Bellinger (LFB, pp. 7 & 11) said it was Frederick, son of Johannes, born about 1680. However, Henry Jones shows that Johann Friederich, son of Johannes, was baptized in 1691, (Jones I, p. 49). I have assumed these two "fathers" are the same person, and have used Jones' birth date.
Frederick married Anna Rosina Walrath, daughter of Henrich Conrad Wallrath and Anna Christina Mattheus, in 1742 in Ulster, , New York. (Anna Rosina Walrath was born about 1714 in , , New York.)
