Grandison married Nancy Lucinda Read, daughter of Benjamin Reed and Lucy Maria Stryker, on 27 Jan 1840 in Marshall County, Indiana. (Nancy Lucinda Read was born on 6 Jan 1823 in Wales, Erie, New York and died on 6 Mar 1890 in Columbus, , Oklahoma.)
