Various records give Abraham's birthdate as 7 March, 8 March or 18 March.
DKM speculates that Abraham, Adam's 4th child, was by his 2nd wife, Diefendorf, although it is not proven that he had a second wife. Both women's first names were Anna Margaretha. However, one of the witnesses to Abraham's baptism was Catharina Mattheus/Matthews, the surname of the first (and only?) wife. Makes you wonder that if there really was a second wife, that a Matthews would be a witness.
Abraham married Elizabeth Abeel, daughter of Jacob Abeel and Elizabeth Fox, on 11 Nov 1821 in , , New York. (Elizabeth Abeel was born on 5 Nov 1803, died on 4 Feb 1843 and was buried in Mindenville, Montgomery, New York, United States.)
